Mehmet has over 18 years of extensive experience in the areas of Governance, Risk and Compliance.

Before joining Lakemore, he was working as a Manager at Vistra Business Services in DIFC and he was acting as the authorized CO/MLRO for multiple financial services institutions in the DIFC and ADGM jurisdictions. Mehmet has started his professional career in the Assurance Advisory Business Services of EY Türkiye and continued his EY journey with with the Business Risk Advisory Services division. Post his term with EY, he has held various management roles heading the compliance functions within reputable financial services entities across UAE.

Mehmet is a BS in Public Finance from Cukurova University of Türkiye.
